Home Depot Internship

Software Engineering Intern – Home Depot

During my time as a Software Engineering Intern at Home Depot (May 2025 – Present), I worked on initiatives to improve pricing accuracy for Pro customers. I built a notification service using the Spring Boot framework that helped pricing managers identify mismatches, while also learning how large-scale systems handle millions of sales records through SQL and Google BigQuery. I also explored how predictive sales models can be applied to real-world pricing adjustments, gaining experience in both backend development and data-driven decision making. This role taught me the importance of balancing technical problem solving with business impact, and how software solutions can directly affect customers at scale.

YouTube Channel – Dune Imperium

Digital Creator – YouTube

As a digital creator on YouTube (Dec 2023 – Present), I combined my passion for board games with digital media to build an audience around Dune: Imperium and its expansions. Creating more than 20 educational videos taught me how to break down complex mechanics into digestible content for a global audience of over 2,000 viewers across 60+ countries. In the process, I strengthened my skills in video editing, marketing, and storytelling, while also learning how to engage a community and track growth using analytics. This experience showed me how creativity, communication, and consistency can come together to grow an impactful platform.

Chess Tutoring

Chess Tutor

Through tutoring younger students in chess, I gained valuable experience in collaboration and management. By assisting my head coach and mentoring kids, I learned how to break down complex openings and strategies into simple, understandable lessons. This not only deepened my own understanding of chess but also improved my ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different learning styles. More importantly, it gave me the opportunity to help others grow and succeed, reinforcing the importance of patience, teamwork, and leadership.
